sbh works with foodservice leader 3663 to complete new multi-temperature depot
3663 First For Foodservice’s strategy to improve its supply chain productivity and reduce its carbon footprint has taken a big step forward with the opening of a new £18m multi-temperature depot at Paddock Wood, Kent. Warehouse and distribution property specialist sbh project-managed the new 120,000ft² facility including 17,000ft² of offices, 290 lorry and vehicle parking spaces and other external works. The project was completed within budget in just 41 weeks.
The depot provides frozen, chilled and ambient storage, with 16 doors and dock levellers. It features the latest environmentally friendly enhancements, including rainwater harvesting, solar panels and low-energy lighting.
